Do you offer a warranty?
All products come with a warranty against manufacturing defect. The time frame depends on the manufacturer. Please contact us at products@byrch.com for specific items.

Will my item look exactly like the picture?
We make every effort to provide high quality images, and measurements to assist you in selecting your furniture. However, images may vary in color depending on your display's color settings. If precise dimensions or colors are critical to your order, we suggest contacting us at products@byrch.com  to further assist you.

Will the furniture require assembly?
Most items require some assembly. All parts including tools, screws, nuts and bolts are packed securely in small bags and boxed with easy to follow instructions. Typical tools that you may need include a hammer, an adjustable wrench and screwdrivers. Please email us at products@byrch.com if you want to check on specific items.

How do I place an order?
Shopping at byrch.com is simple. When you find a product you'd like to purchase, click the "Add to Cart" button.

l. View Entire Cart
Your Cart displays all the items you have selected. (Don't worry, you can still make changes.) It also provides a subtotal--before any taxes are applied--for your purchase. After reviewing the contents of your Cart, click on the "Checkout" button to proceed to secure checkout. NOTE: If you sign in to your account but do not complete an order, the items in your Cart will remain there for seven days. You can come back at any time within that time frame, click the Cart link at the top of any page on the site, and complete your order.

2. Proceed to Checkout
All customers are taken to our Checkout page, where you can sign in.

3. Provide the Shipping Address
Enter the shipping address for the recipient, completing all required fields.

4. Provide your Payment information and Billing address  (If different than the shipping address)  
Enter your billing address for the credit card you'll use to make this purchase. If this address is also the shipping address, click continue. If not, select the appropriate radio button and enter your shipping address.

5. Complete Order
Click the "Complete Order" button 

6. Your Order Number
Finally, we display a page with your order number, which you should save for your records. Shortly after this page displays, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order.

Returning Customer Checkout
If you've shopped at byrch.com before and have an account, our systems let you save default shipping and billing information and place orders quickly.

Is is safe to order online?
Absolutely! Protecting your personal information is one of our highest priorities. Our site uses the Industry-Standard SSL encryption technology to ensure that your credit card information remains private and secure.

Can I order by phone or fax?
At this time, you cannot place an order through byrch.com by phone or fax.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept the following U.S. issued credit cards:
-Visa
-MasterCard
-American Express
Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (as they appear on your credit card statement) . Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order or failure to complete your order request. Your card will not be charged until your order ships. We will authorize your credit card to guarantee funds.

What is your best price guarantee?
byrch.com is dedicated to providing you with the best value in modern design. We want you to feel satisfied that you are buying at the best price guaranteed. So, if you find one of our products selling for less at a competitor, email us the URL of the website with the lower price to products@byrch.com and we will gladly match that price.

We will match the price when:
1. Price submitted is from an authorized retailer in the continental U.S. who has the same product in stock. Auction sites not included.
2. Price submitted is for the total product including shipping costs.
3. Price submitted is for brand new products (no refurbished, remanufactured or copies) .

Do you charge sales tax?
There is no sales tax collected on any order shipped outside of New Jersey . byrch.com will collect the appropriate sales tax for orders shipped within the State of New Jersey. This will be added to your final total when placing your order.

How much is shipping?
We provide FREE shipping on all orders  to the continental United States. At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, P.O. Boxes, international addresses, APO or FPO addresses.

How long will it take to receive my order?
To determine when items will arrive, please refer to the availability listed on your particular item's detail page and then add appropriate transit time. :
-Standard ground delivery: 3-5 business days transit time
-Freight delivery: 5-7 business days transit time

(All items ship via standard ground, unless specifically noted as freight delivery on the product detail page)

For example, the Straight Desk from Legare ships standard ground and is available to ship within 2-3 business days. From the time you place your order for this item, it will arrive at your door within 2 weeks (3 days to leave warehouse + 5 days in transit = 8 days).

How will you ship my order?
All items placed through byrch.com are shipped via FedEx ground or UPS ground, unless specifically stated as shipping via freight delivery on your product's detail page.

Freight Delivery
All items requiring freight delivery are oversize and require special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are large and heavy, we must ship them via special freight delivery.

To ensure the best possible experience for our customers, we use special in-home furniture carriers for all our freight deliveries. In these cases, our carriers will phone you to set up a delivery appointment prior to delivery. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. For orders that ship with our special in-home carriers, your items will be unloaded by 2 delivery people and delivered to the ground floor curbside or outside front door area.

How to Receive Freight
Our artisans take great care in packaging their designs to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur.

This is why we encourage you to inspect all packages for damage before signing for the package. If you sense that there is any kind of freight damage, take some time to open the package while the driver is present and inspect the goods. Ask the driver to note any damage on the delivery receipt (ie. the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet).

If the shipment is in very poor condition, you have the option to refuse the entire shipment or part of the shipment. Then contact orders@byrch.com as soon as possible. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.

We recommend that you keep all packaging until you are completely satisfied with your order.

How can I view the status of my order?
You can instantly review the status of all your pending and past orders. Click My Account in the top right-hand corner of any page and login using the email address and password you used to place your original order. Once your order has shipped, the order status will change to "Shipped" and you will receive delivery confirmation via email.

Can I have my order shipped outside of the US?
byrch.com ships to the continental United States only. At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, P.O. Boxes, international addresses, APO or FPO addresses.

What if an item is out of stock?
If your selected merchandise is out of stock, we will inform you immediately upon receipt of order. We will inform you via e-mail of shipping schedule. Please note: Your credit card will not be charged until your item ships.

What is your cancellation policy?
byrch.com works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order, please email us by 9PM EST at orders@byrch.com. If your order has already shipped, please see our Returns policy for further instructions.

What if my item arrives damaged?
Be sure to inspect all packages for damage before signing for the package. If you sense that there is any kind of freight damage, open the package while the driver is present and inspect the goods. Be sure the driver notes any damage on the delivery receipt (ie. the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet). If the shipment is in very poor condition, you have the option to refuse the entire shipment or part of the shipment. Then contact orders@byrch.com as soon as possible. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.

If the item(s) is defective, please be sure to retain all original packaging and contact orders@byrch.com within 3 working days of arrival with specific details. We may require photos of the defect to help us understand your issues more clearly. Solutions may include: sending replacement parts, sending touch up paint, discounting the piece or returning the merchandise.

What is your policy on returns?
For most items, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, byrch.com will be happy to process a return for you.

To return an item, please contact us via email at orders@byrch.com for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) . Items are shipped from multiple warehouses across the United States. Therefore, it is very important to contact us so we can provide the correct return warehouse address.

To receive a refund, please:
1) Contact us within 5 days of the receipt of your items
2) Contact orders@byrch.com for an RMA number and include it in your package
3) Ensure that items are unused and unassembled, in their original condition, and in their original packaging

Please be aware:
If the return is not due to damaged merchandise, you are responsible for costs associated with return shipment. Your credit card will be refunded in full, minus original shipping fees.
Returns made to byrch.com will be refunded in the form of the original payment method.
We cannot be responsible for packages lost during return. Therefore, we highly recommend that your return be sent as an insured package.
The credit for your return will be applied to the credit card used to make the purchase. It may take up to two credit card billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
